1. About this policy
This policy explains how Jocelyn (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with Lift Dock Sort Lite for Android (package com.liftdock.sortlite) and this policy website.
The game does not require an account or login and does not provide chat, community features or a cloud game-save service. Core puzzles and progression are stored locally. Network-enabled versions may use Google AdMob for optional rewarded ads and GitHub for a small advertising configuration file.
2. Information stored on your device
The game stores level progress, completion and star records, coins, unlocked illustrations, selected skins, sound/music/vibration/language settings, the current puzzle, undo history and temporary reward state. These records are used to run the game and restore your progress. We do not upload your game-save file to our own server.
When you choose to save an unlocked illustration after the required rewarded ad, the app writes a PNG image to your device. On supported Android versions, this uses the system media library. This action does not require access to your existing photos. Exported pictures remain under your control in the system gallery or the app’s picture directory.
3. Optional rewarded advertising
Rewarded ads may be offered for a hint, an extra lift slot, continuing a failed puzzle, double coins, or saving a high-resolution illustration. First completing a level unlocks its illustration without an ad. Viewing an unlocked illustration also does not require an ad.
In versions with Google AdMob enabled, Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may process your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), advertising or other device identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information. Google uses this information for ad delivery, measurement, analytics and fraud prevention. Processing depends on the SDK configuration, your device settings and applicable consent choices.
Google test ads still use Google’s SDK and network services; they are different from the offline Mock ad screens in development builds. A build using only Mock ads does not contact Google to show those screens.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosures for details. Where consent is required, it must be obtained before the relevant processing. Available consent controls depend on the released version and your region.
4. Remote configuration and website hosting
Versions with remote configuration enabled may download a small public JSON file from GitHub Pages or GitHub’s raw-file service to select test or production advertising. The configuration is not a game-save upload and contains no player profile. A network request necessarily exposes connection information such as an IP address and request metadata to the hosting provider.
This policy page is intended to be hosted on GitHub Pages. We have not added analytics scripts, tracking pixels, forms or advertising to this page. GitHub may process visitor and request information under its own Privacy Statement.
5. Support messages
If you contact us, we receive the email address, message and any files you choose to send. We use this information to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Please avoid sending passwords or unrelated personal information.
6. Sharing, security and retention
We do not operate a server that receives your game-save data. Google and GitHub process information as described above when their services are used. We may also disclose support correspondence when required by law or necessary to address a security or legal issue.
Local records normally remain until you clear the app’s storage or uninstall it; separately exported gallery images may remain. Support correspondence is kept only as needed to handle the request and meet applicable obligations. Google and GitHub determine retention for information they process under their policies and may process it in countries other than your own.
Network services described here use HTTPS. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Your choices and requests
- You can play core levels without choosing rewarded ads.
- Use Android’s app settings to clear locally saved game data. This removes local progress; we cannot restore it from a cloud account.
- Delete exported pictures using your device’s gallery or file manager.
- Use available Android advertising-ID controls and, where provided, the app’s advertising privacy controls to manage relevant choices.
- Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us for information we hold; Google and GitHub provide controls for information they handle.
8. Children and families
We do not ask players to submit their name, birth date or contact information to play. Parents or guardians with a concern about a child’s information may contact us below. The app’s audience selection, age rating and advertising treatment must match its published store listing and the version you use.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The current policy will be available at this address with an updated date. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
