Scope
This policy explains how Whistle Meadow (Android package com.whistlemeadow.game) and these privacy pages handle information. It describes the current 1.0.0 game. Privacy contact: seansheaton@gmail.com.
Offline gameplay and local saves
The game does not require an account. It has no advertising, in-app purchases, developer-operated cloud saves, or integrated advertising, analytics or remote crash-reporting SDKs. The current Android release does not request Internet access. We do not receive your gameplay progress from the game.
The game stores your last level, completed-level scores (stars and move counts), language, and music, sound and motion settings in the app’s local storage. These records let you continue playing, unlock levels, display achievements and retain your preferences. They are not used for advertising or profiling.
Android backup and device services
Android backup is enabled in the current release. Depending on your device, operating-system settings and backup provider, app data may be copied to a system-managed backup or transferred to another device. A backup can restore progress after reinstallation. This is separate from a developer-operated cloud-save service; we do not operate or access your system backup. Use your device or backup-provider settings to manage these copies.
Android and Google Play may separately process installation, security, device and diagnostic information under their own settings and policies. Google Play may make crash, compatibility or performance reports available to developers. We may use those reports to diagnose problems; we do not embed a separate telemetry service in this game.
Purchases through Google Play
Whistle Meadow is a paid download. Google Play handles purchase, payment and refund processing. The game does not request or receive your full payment-card details. Google may provide transaction or sales records to the developer for purchase support, accounting and applicable legal obligations. Those platform records are separate from your local game save. Support and privacy enquiries
If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to provide. We use this information to respond, investigate issues and handle privacy requests. Our email provider processes that correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or unrelated sensitive information. Support messages are not used for advertising or mailing lists.
This website
These pages are hosted on GitHub Pages. Loading them sends ordinary request information, such as your IP address and browser information, to the hosting provider. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, tracking pixels, cookies or a contact form to these pages. Hosting logs are governed by the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
Retention, sharing and deletion
Local game data remains until it is cleared or removed. On Android, you can clear this app’s storage in device Settings or uninstall it to remove local progress and preferences. Menu labels vary by device. These actions do not necessarily delete system backups, support emails or Google Play purchase records; manage backups and platform records with the relevant provider.
We retain support correspondence only as needed to handle the request, related follow-up and applicable legal obligations. Where we receive purchase records, retention may also depend on accounting or legal requirements. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising. Service providers may process information as described above; we may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. Providers may process information outside your country under their own policies.
Your choices and children’s privacy
You can play without creating an account or contacting us. There is no in-game account to delete. Where applicable law provides rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of personal information we hold, contact us at the email below. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify and handle your request. We cannot remotely retrieve or delete a save stored only on your device.
The game has no chat, user uploads or forms requesting children’s personal information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information that should not be retained, contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion. Purchase and device-account controls are managed by Google Play and the device provider.
